I became a widow in May 2016. My husband died aged 44. We had been together for 23 years and married for 10 years and 10 months.
A few years into our marriage, I started to pray for my husband every day and was very confused when he died. It didn't make sense. However my faith rose up and I knew that God was in control and that everything was not as it seemed.
In May 2017 I organised and hosted the first 'Widows Breakfast' where over 50 widows came together to enjoy a healthy continental breakfast, share their unique stories, connect with other widows and heal from their loss. After the second Widows Breakfast in May 2018, I asked God what do widows say to You? What are they crying about? And He answered my questions with this prayer book.
